Being that we rely soley on volunteers and donations to operate and care for our animals, our community members are our greatest resource. Donating money, feed, supplies or other things on our wish list; volunteering you time at the ranch; sponsoring a horse; or becoming a member are all fantastic ways to support the Phoenix Equine Center. No donation is too small and just like our beleif in our horses, we believe that every person can make a difference.

Look around your barn, go through your old horse tack. If you no longer use it donate it. If we can't use it, we'll sell it and use the money for what we do need. You can have a garage sale for us, how about a car wash, organize a trail ride, motorcycle or bike ride, or set up a booth at a local event. Create your own flyers or contact us for brocures and pamplets.

Volunteer

It takes a lot of people and work to keep things running at the Phoenix Equine Rescue. We need volunteers to help with the physical labor needed to keep the everything running smoothly and to keep the animals well cared for. Volunteers can help with the physical needs of the horses including grooming, feeding and providing human companionship or they can assist with barn chores such as cleaning stalls. We also need help with upkeep such as fence mending, painting and organization.

If you have other skills that could support the Phoenix Equine Rescue consider assisting with the newsletter, planning and working at special events and fundraisers, writing articles and helping to secure sponsorships.

Grant Writing

Don't Have Time To Volunteer?

So you want to help out but just don't have the time to volunteer? Don't worry! We all have busy lives, but you can still do a lot to help! Click on the Donate button to the left and send a donation. Taking care of so many horses requires a LOT of money for feed, hay, veterinary care and medications. Your contribution can go a long way toward covering the cost of caring for one of our amazing animals.

Foster Homes

Foster homes are always needed for the rescue horses. If you have a space to help one animal, even for a short time, it may save the animals life. Fostering a horse can enrich your life and make a profound difference for the horse.
